Strong roots in Belgium
Although our heart lies in the Peruvian Andes, Oye LENA is passionately supported from Belgium. Our working group, founded in 2014 by former volunteers, has been an official non-profit organization (NPO) since July 20th, 2022. The NPO is managed daily by directors Stefanie Van Erps, Milena Vleminckx-Huybens and Ilse Cayron. They receive indispensable support from regular volunteers Sofie Cumps and Sara Defoor. Together, they ensure the flawless follow-up of Belgian sponsorships, donations, and all questions from new volunteers. Thanks to this official Belgian branch, we guarantee 100% transparency and work together, across borders, towards a better future.
